Balanced Pressure Proportioners

Balanced Pressure Proportioners (BPP) are designed to inject automatically the correct quantity of foam concentrate into a water stream over wide flow and pressure ranges by balancing the pressure of the foam concentrate with that of the water supply. Used in combination with a Bag Tank or Balance Valve. Five models are available in sizes ranging from 220 to 22000 LPM.

Fixed Inductors

Fixed Inductors are designed primarily for use in fixed installations and provide a simple and reliable method of proportioning foam concentrate into constant flow applications. Models are available in sizes ranging from 65 to 4000 LPM at inlet pressures of between 4 and 16 bar.

Feecon Pump Proportioning Kit

The Feecon Around-the-Pump Proportioner is a simple and inexpensive way to add foam capability to all discharges of a truck.  There are two types of AP Kits; one has a manual metering valve and the other has an automatic multi-metering valve.

The AP system design diverts a portion of the water pump’s output from the discharge side of the pump and sends it through an eductor.  A vacuum is created at the eductor’s foam concentrate inlet and this vacuum draws foam concentrate through the metering valve and into the eductor.  This foam / water mixture is then sent to the suction side of the water pump where it mixes with the incoming water and is distributed throughout the discharge piping.

Helijector Foam Proportioning System

The Angus Helijector is a self-contained skid-mounted foam proportioning system, comprising a foam storage tank, water turbine, foam pump and all interconnecting
pipework. All components are manufactured from materials accepted for offshore use and are mounted within a robust steel framed skid. Developed primarily for offshore helideck monitor protection systems, the Helijector is available in three sizes to match constant
flow rates of 900, 1800 and 2700 litres/minute at 7 bar and is particularly suitable for use with the Angus Oscillating Monitor. The unit is also ideal for use with any other fixed foam system with a known constant flow where very low maintenance is a priority.

Bag Tanks

Bag Tanks are designed to control the flow of foam concentrate into a Balanced Pressure Proportioner at a pressure that is balanced to water line pressure. Models are available in sizes ranging from 450 to 4500 litres.
